Saint Matthew’s Cross
Historic Celtic Cross from Iona

This is a scale artists reconstruction by Stuart Fellowes depicting the 14th century St. Matthew’s Celtic Cross and shows how this stone cross may have looked when originally carved. The cross is highly detailed and would have been an important high cross for the community and pilgrims to Iona.  Today the cross is on display at Iona Abbey
