Saint John’s Celtic Cross
Historic Celtic Cross from Iona

This is a scale artists reconstruction by Stuart Fellowes depicting the 9th century St. John’s Celtic cross and shows how this stone cross may have looked when originally carved. The cross richly in filled with panels depicting serpents and bosses. Today the cross is on display at Iona Abbey. A full size concrete replica stands outside the Abbey.
