Slainte Mhath
Contemporary design by Stuart Fellowes

Slainte Mhath (pronounced as Slancha va) is the Scottish Gaelic for "Good Health". It is commonly used as a drinking toast. The proposer will say “Slainte Mhath” and the popular response will be “Slainte Mhor” (pronounced as Slancha vor), which translates as “Great Health”. It is also used as a Jacobite toast with an alternative meaning as "health to Marion", Marion being a Jacobite code name for Prince Charles Edward Stuart, (Bonnie Prince Charlie)

This piece is a resin cast  reproduction of Stuarts’ original hand-carved sculpture
