Riasg Buidhe Celtic Cross Historic Pictish Cross from Colonsay
This is a scale artists reconstruction by Stuart Fellowes depicting the 5th century Riasg Buidhe Celtic Cross and shows how this Flagstone cross may have looked when originally carved. The cross depicts a human head atop a fish like body, thought to represent Christ. Today it stands at Tobar Odhrain near Colonsay House
This piece is a resin cast reproduction of Stuarts’ original hand-carved sculpture
