Jordanhill Celtic Cross Historic Celtic cross from Glasgow
This is a scale artists reconstruction by Stuart Fellowes depicting the 8th century Jordanhill Celtic Cross and shows how this sandstone cross may have looked when originally carved. Today the original cross is broken with its head missing and is on display at the Govan Stones museum in Glasgow. My miniature is based on the full size reconstruction replica on display outside Govan Old Parish Church.
This piece is a resin cast reproduction of Stuarts’ original hand-carved sculpture
