Dyce Pictish Cross Slab Historic Pictish Cross from Aberdeenshire
This is a scale artists reconstruction by Stuart Fellowes depicting the 8th Century Dyce Pictish Cross. A intricately carved granite cross and symbol stone that today can be found located near its original position at the ancient Dyce chapel. The Christian cross is decorated with knotwork. Surrounding the cross are various Pictish symbols, the crescent and V-rod, mirror case, triple disc and double disc and Z-rod symbols
