Aberlemno “Churchyard” Pictish Cross Historic Pictish cross slab from the village of Aberlemno
This is a scale reconstruction by Stuart Fellowes depicting the cross face of the 9th Century Pictish Cross slab commonly known as the “Churchyard Cross”. A large, finely carved sandstone slab that today can be found located in the yard at Aberlemno Church. The Christian Cross is infilled with fine interlace and key patterns and is flanked by a collection of various Pictish fauna.
